COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSES - 1) CS courses are open to all students in the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science. Where requested by the instructor, students from other Ph.D. disciplines may register w/o special permission. All other individuals must obtain the instructor's express permission to register. 2) These courses will satisfy the curricular course distribution requirement: Before being advanced to candidacy, all CS doctoral students are required to take a total of at least four 80000-level courses (12 credits); these courses must be distributed in at least TWO areas of academic concentration. |
